Curator: Prof. Kęstutis Vasiliūnas

We sincerely thank all the artists who participated in the exhibitions of the “10th International Vilnius Artist’s Book Triennial 2024.” Thank you for taking part in this major international art project.

The 10th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2024” was exhibited:

September 25, 2025 – January 23, 2026 – Biblioteca Universitaria de Granada – Hospital Real, Spain

1975 artists from 100 countries submitted about 4000 artist’s books.
An international jury selected 988 artist’s books from 69 countries.
The artist’s books were exhibited in Vilnius, Nida, Plungė (Lithuania), Leipzig, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rheine & Cologne (Germany), Lille (France), Silkeborg (Denmark), Venice, Vercelli, Urbino (Italy), Seoul (South Korea), Halmstad (Sweden), Salzburg (Austria), Evanston, Fredonia & Cleveland (USA) & Granada (Spain).

Unfortunately, we must acknowledge that the “International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius,” launched in 1997, is coming to an end. We are ceasing operations with the 10th Triennial because, after 33 years of active work—including exhibitions, lectures, artist’s book workshops, and educational projects—we have received very little financial or moral support from Lithuania.

“International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius” – History

We thank everyone who contributed to the longevity of this “Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius” and to the participation of so many wonderful artists from around the world. We thank everyone who supported this magnificent art project—both financially and morally—as well as those who hosted and accommodated me during my travels and the exhibitions, those who lent a hand, and those who trusted in the “Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius”. And I offer special thanks to the artists who placed their trust in me, sent their wonderful artist’s books to Vilnius, and took part in the exhibitions. Thank you all.
